Adding Video to eBay Auctions
Filed under Life with eBayADD SOME VIDEO!
Adding video to eBay auctions is incredibly easy. I haven't done a lot with it, but I'm going to make a serious effort to do more of it. I just listed a toy wind up duck that I picked up a while ago. Obviously the potential bidders want to see whether or not it works before bidding. I couldn't find the link to the service I used before for hosting video (oops) so I did a search on Google and found Tinypics. The hosting was free and all I did was upload a video from my digital camera, copy the HTML they generated for me and paste it into the auction description. (NOTE: You have to change the view in your description editor to HTML before pasting the code. You do this by clicking "HTML" above the editor. When you are done, click "Standard" again.)
Here is my wonderfully descriptive video...
Original Video - More videos at TinyPicAs you can see, that is much better than typing 700 words trying to convince the people looking that the goofy thing actually works. I also had a little room left in the eBay auction title space, so I added, "Now w/ Video!" I did that just for fun and to see if many people will check it out. Now we'll just have to see if it gets some bids!
