I decided to start little experiment. I want to take all of the money I earned selling garage sale funds over a specific period of time, I'm thinking two months, and invest it in purchasing more inventoried to sell. As I sell the merchandise, I intend to keep on reinvesting in estate sale purchases which will then of course, be sold on eBay as well.
This has been my intention from the beginning, but it seems that something has always come out that gets me spending money I've made on something around the house. For this two month period of time, I've really want to concentrate on not touching the funds, and seeing exactly how much I can turn an initial investment into by flipping it on Ebay. I think I will give myself a starting purchasing fund of just $30.00 and go from there.
I like to look for interesting ways to invest the money I am making and to see just how much profit I can turn in short amount of time. Of course this is not the type of endeavor you have to wait a long time to see results from, which for me, is pretty cool. If you're looking for something like that, you might want to check out a drip investment program. Doing something like that, is actually next on the list, as I know it is important to diversify your streams of income and getting the money out of my hands would probably be a good idea while I'm trying to make money grow. Honestly, I can't think of many legal ways that you can get such a great return on your investment. If you have something special that you want to save up for, try turning a profit on some estate sale items and then stash away what you have made before you have a chance to spend it. Want something special for yourself like a spa vacation or maybe a new house for your pet ferret? Hey, put in the listing time, and you could end up paying a lot less actual cash out of your pocket for whatever it is you want.
Just so you know, the things I will be looking for when I go out to estate sales, will be many of the same things I show on this website. If you are in eBay seller, I would love to hear about the best profit you have made reselling items that you have found that garage sales, yard sales, estate sales, or similar venues.
